Good to know.

What is a baby shower registry?

A baby shower registry is a list of the gifts and cash funds you would like for your baby, shared with one link. Friends and family see what you need, then reserve a gift or chip in together, so you get fewer duplicates and more of what you will use.

Can I add products from any store?

Yes. Paste a product link from any online store, including a brand’s own website, and we fetch the name, image and price. You can also create cash funds, for example for your baby’s first year or for help at home after the birth.

Can several people chip in for a stroller or car seat?

Yes. Turn on contributions for a gift and guests choose how much to give. Contributions are settled to your Indian bank account in INR after a flat 2% fee, on the standard T+2 business-day cycle, and you buy the item yourself.

Do guests need to sign in?

Anyone with the link can browse your registry. To reserve a gift or contribute, guests sign in with a one-time code sent to their Indian mobile number, or with Google or email.

Can family abroad contribute?

Yes. International contributions in major currencies are enabled by default. You receive the money in INR in your Indian bank account.

When should we share the registry?

Share it with the invitation, or three to four weeks before the shower. Many families hold the godh bharai, seemantham or valaikappu in the third trimester. If your family prefers to wait until the baby arrives, share the list for the naming ceremony instead.

What does it cost?

Creating, sharing and managing your registry is free, and so is reserving gifts. Only cash contributions carry a flat 2% fee, deducted before the money is settled to you.
