It’s a simple way to share a wishlist with your guests so they can gift you things you actually want, or contribute to funds you set up. You pick what goes on the list, guests pick what to give, and you get a tidy overview of everything in one place.
Create your free account, add bank details, add gifts, then publish your list when you are ready. Guests can buy items or chip into funds via a secure checkout and (optionally) leave you a message. the money collected goes straight to your account.
Hit “login”, follow the sign up steps, and you are in. You should receive a welcome email right away with your details and next steps.
Because most guests genuinely want to buy you something, but nobody wants to guess. A wishlist cuts down duplicates, helps guests stay on-budget, and makes thank you notes a lot easier because everything is tracked in one place.
Creating and managing wishlists on Hazlnut is free. You only pay when you receive money from guests. A 5% fee is deducted during the transfer to your bank — no setup costs, no monthly charges. This fee covers standard payment gateway charges and a nominal platform fee.
Wishlist Etiquette
A good rhythm is to start building early, then publish your list about 10–12 weeks before the event along with invites. If you are short on time, do not stress. You can publish whenever you like.
More than you think. Aim for a mix of price points so everyone can find something that feels right. A practical rule is to have at least as many options as guest households, plus a few extra so late shoppers still have good choices.
Most hosts share with invites, around 10–12 weeks ahead. The earlier you publish, the more time guests have to browse and plan.
Use your unique link and QR code. Put them on invites, your event website, or send them by text or WhatsApp. If you offer guest notification emails, that can reduce admin for you.
Editing My List
Use the edit tools on each gift, fetch gift details from a url or add details manually.
Yes. You can customize the cover image, the title, subtitle and your welcome message on your Edit Wishlist page.
Yes of Course! Multiple guests can contribute toward a single gift. Guests pick an amount that fits their budget. If the item is not fully funded, you still recieve the amount in your bank and you may use the contributed balance toward something else.
If nobody has contributed towards it yet, you can delete it. If people have already contributed, you cannot delete it.
Gifts
You can add gifts manually or fetch gift details using a URL. From your wishlist page, click Add Gift, paste the URL, and select Fetch to retrieve the gift details. Review and fill in any missing information, then click Add Gift to save it.

Yes! Hazlnut supports all products and items. Simply go to the page of the product you wish to add, copy its url and paste it in the add gift section and add the product to your wishlist!
If an item goes out of stock, no worries. You’ll still get the contributed amount in your bank and can use it to buy the item whenever it’s available again.
Think of them as themed contributions, but without tying you to a specific travel provider. Guests can fund experiences (dinner, upgrades, activities) and you decide how to spend it.
You can create a fund the same way you add a product, except there’s no URL involved. Simply enter a name for the fund, like “New Home,” “Renovation,” or “Honeymoon,” add a relevant image (via URL or by uploading one), set the total amount, and click Create. Guests can contribute any amount, and the fund will appear as an item in your wishlist. Simple, stress-free, and no awkward moments!
The contributed amount is sent straight to your bank according to the next settlement cycle. You will recieve contributions as and when the guests begin to contribute.
Payments & Settlements
Hazlnut uses Razorpay to process all payments securely. Once a guest makes a contribution, the money goes through Razorpay's settlement cycle. For most accounts, this means funds reach your linked bank account within T+2 working days (two working days after the transaction). Weekends and public holidays can extend this slightly.
Razorpay settles payments on a rolling basis. For standard accounts, the settlement cycle is T+2, meaning if a payment is captured on Monday, it will typically be settled to your bank by Wednesday (assuming both days are working days). Some accounts may have different cycles based on their verification status.
You can view your settlement status and history in your hazlnut dashboard under Account Settings. Look for the "Payments" section to see pending and completed settlements.
Settlements can be delayed for a few reasons: incomplete KYC verification, bank holidays, or if your account is under review. If you're experiencing unexpected delays, check that your bank account details are correct and your account is fully verified. You can also contact Hazlnut support for assistance.

Hazlnut uses Razorpay as our prefered payment gateway. Normally everything should run smoothly, however in case you do not recieve your settlements contact support and we will help you out.
Commonly accepted options include major debit and credit cards, and UPI payments. Payments are accepted only INR, For enabling international payments please contact us through support.
Managing My wishlist
From your dashboard on the side pane, you can toggle to publish or unpublish the wishlist, set the wishlist live, then share via your link. You control the timing, and you can share it anywhere guests will actually see it.
Click view contributions and it should show the contributions from guests and their messages.
Add the wishlist link and QR code to invites and your event website.
