Hazlnut is a free gift registry and wishlist website for India. Hosts add gifts from any online store and cash funds to one list; guests reserve a gift or chip in, and pooled cash contributions are settled to the host's bank account.

What Hazlnut does

• One wishlist holds both gifts and cash funds. Hosts paste a product link from any online store, or add a fund for a plan such as a honeymoon or a new home.
• Guests reserve a gift so nobody buys the same thing twice, or chip in towards a bigger gift together with other guests.
• Pooled cash contributions are settled to the host's Indian bank account, in INR.
• Guests abroad can contribute in major currencies.

Who it is for

Couples planning a wedding, parents-to-be planning a baby shower, and anyone with a birthday or another celebration coming up. It also suits hosts whose relatives live abroad: they can contribute online instead of shipping a gift.
